Extra Curricular

Young Life Academy offers several different programs as an added benefit to you. These programs are an additional cost but are

optional. Currently, we offer Ballet, Dance, Gymnastics, Happy Feet, NZone, and Art.

HAPPY FEET

Soccer

Soccer is perhaps the only recognized high school varsity sport that a 2-6 year old can develop skills for and play in a similar fashion to older players while truly enjoying and benefiting from the experience at such an early age. Happy Feet teaches the key concepts of soccer using many creative techniques. In a “Happy Feet” class, soccer skills are taught using props, games, and your child’s imagination. Classes run month to month and are located on Young Life Academy’s athletic field adjacent to the building.

BALLET & DANCE

Ballet is offered for ages 3 years and up where as Ballet/Tap classes begin at 4 years of age. The Ballet/Jazz classes are offered for after school elementary ages starting at 6 years of age and up. The Ballet/ Jazz program is a free and less restrictive form of dance. Jazz is considered an American art form that involves body conditioning using ballet and modern dance techniques. Registration for classes are held every fall and winter sessions. Please contact the front office at Young Life Academy for more details.
